Pastoral Leadership in a Synodal Church – Course 4 – January 2026

The Pastoral Leadership in a Synodal Church – Course 4, held at the Center for Ignatian Spirituality (CIS VN), concluded in an atmosphere of communion and gratitude.

During ten days of study and prayer, 25 participants — priests, men and women religious, and lay faithful from the three regions of the country — journeyed together through the program’s three main pillars: Synodality – Pastoral Leadership – Discernment in the Spirit. Through roundtable dialogue, deep listening, and prayer with the Word of God, many participants came to experience more clearly that synodality is not merely a method, but a way of being Church today.

From being strangers to one another, participants gradually opened their hearts to share their concerns and challenges in ministry, and experienced closeness in the Lord. Many expressed the desire to bring the spirit of synodality back to their families, communities, parishes, and dioceses: to listen more attentively, to discern together in prayer, and to build small yet sustainable practices in daily pastoral life.
