On April 25th, 2024, the Center for Ignatian Spirituality hosted the closing ceremony for the TRAINING PROGRAM IN SPIRITUAL ACCOMPANIMENT AND THE GIVING OF THE SPIRITUAL EXERCISES 4th cohort. The program commenced in September 2023, lasting 7.5 months, and has now reached its conclusion.
The closing ceremony was attended by nearly 50 individuals, including superiors/representatives of religious congregations, 18 program participants, instructors, and collaborators. Notably, the event was graced by the presence of Bishop Joseph Tran Van Toan – Bishop of Long Xuyen and Bishop Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuoc – Diocese of Phu Cuong.
To kick off the program, Father Director Đaminh Nguyen Đuc Hanh provided an overview of how the Program operates, ensuring that the superiors understand the experiences the participants have gone through during the course of their studies.
Next came the certificate presentation for the participants.
The ceremony continued with a mass, followed by the ritual of sending forth.
And then there was a group photo session for commemoration before the concluding banquet.
We sincerely thank the presence of Your Excellencies, Reverend Fathers, and all the monks and nuns who attended. We wish the participants continued enthusiasm and sincerity, carrying the experiences they have gained as tools to serve in their missions.
